Grade 5/6 & above travel games are paid out by NVYSL through Arbiter Pay every two weeks.  HYSA will pay out the bonus pay twice a season, after week 4 and after week 8.  All grade 3/4 pay comes from HYSA

Your badge is good for one calendar year (spring and fall seasons). You must recertify each year during the winter. If you take an initial certification during the summer, check that you get a badge for the following year. If so, then you will be certified for the upcoming fall season as well as for the full following year.

Keep copies of all of your recertification and kit costs.  Forward them to referee@hysa.org.  Reimbursements will be paid out after week 4 and after week 8.  You must referee a minimum of 3 HYSA games to be eligible for reimbursement.  A check will be mailed to you.

Each week your assignor will assign games based on rankings and the level of the home matches.  You'll receive an email and text notification that you have been assigned.  Within 48 hours you'll need to either accept or decline the game.  Please utilize the Arbiter app to accept or decline.

Please note, it is the referee's responsibility to maintain their blocks in Arbiter.  If you are not blocked, it is assumed that you are available and willing to referee games.
