Spring 2026 Season Communications

Hi HYSA Community,

Happy New Year! We're reaching out because the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League (NVYSL), the league HYSA participates in for our travel program, has several critical board positions that are currently open for the 2025–2026 season.

NVYSL shared that these are 1-year term volunteer roles, and they’re essential to keeping the league running smoothly for all member towns (including Hudson).

Open NVYSL positions:

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Girls Grade 3/4 Director

  • Boys Grade 5/6 Director

If you’re interested in helping at the league level (or want to learn more about what any of these roles involve), please consider stepping up. Strong league leadership directly supports scheduling, coordination, and the overall experience for our HYSA travel players and coaches.

To express interest or ask questions, please reply to this email.

Thank you for considering it, and for everything you do to support HYSA!

Best,

Hudson Youth Soccer

Hi HYSA Families,

As we head into the new season, HYSA is looking for a few additional volunteers to join our Board and help keep our program running strong.

HYSA is a 100% volunteer-run organization. When we’re able to fill key roles, it directly improves the experience for our players and families, better communication, smoother scheduling, and more support for teams.

We’re currently looking to fill the following positions:

Fundraising Coordinator
Helps secure donations and sponsorships from local businesses to support HYSA (equipment, events, scholarships/financial assistance, and keeping registration costs down). This includes outreach and connecting with new community partners.

Travel Director
Supports our travel program by coordinating game scheduling logistics throughout the season for our travel teams. Works with HYSA coaches, our referee assignor, our field scheduler, and opponent clubs to:

  • Reschedule games when conflicts arise (weather, field availability, etc.)

  • Coordinate and confirm any “unscheduled” games that need to be placed on the calendar

  • Help ensure smooth communication so teams have what they need each week

Social Media Coordinator
Manages HYSA’s Facebook and Instagram presence by sharing timely updates and celebrating our HYSA community, game photos, team highlights, registration reminders, events, and important announcements. (If you enjoy capturing and sharing the great moments from the fields, this is a perfect fit.)

If you’re interested in helping, either in one of the roles above or in another capacity, please reply to this email and let us know what you’re interested in. Even a small amount of time makes a big difference when it’s shared across a few volunteers.

Thank you for supporting HYSA and helping us provide the best possible experience for our kids.

Best regards,

Shaun Chambers
HYSA President
