GRADE 3/4 (FORMERLY U10)
Grouping:
Boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grade who generally are 8 to 9 years old as of August 31st of the fall season.
Duration:
8 weeks per season
Fall programs run from September to November and Spring programs run from April to June
League
:
This is a travel program in the
Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League (NVYSL)
including many surrounding cities and towns where HYSA places players on teams based on individual skill level and HYSA and NVYSL place teams in NVYSL divisions based on overall team skill level.
Schedule
:
One Revolution group practice/skills clinics per week on assigned age group-specific weekday for about an hour.
One team practice per week on a volunteer parent coach selected day.
Weekly home games at David J. Quinn Middle School or away games in other towns on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM (girls) and 10:30 AM (boys). Weekly games run for about 1 hour (two 30 minute halves plus halftime). Visit the

Games
:
Format is 7v7 with 6 ft. x 12 ft. goals, size 4 ball, regulation field, and regulation game rules
Practices
:
The first half of group weekly practices/skills clinics focus on training and the second half on small-sided games
Revolution Academy coaches lead the group practices/skills clinics with the support of volunteer parent assistant coaches
Revolution Academy coaches build upon Revolution Academy weekly themes at weekly scrimmages
Equipment
:
All players must purchase a Hudson Youth Soccer uniform including shirt, shorts, and socks
All players must wear their Hudson Youth Soccer uniform to games on Saturday.
All players must bring a size 4 ball to games and practices.
All players must wear cleats or sneakers (cleats are not required but are recommended).
All players must wear shin guards and soccer socks to practices and games (socks must be worn over shin guards).
All players should bring a water bottle to practices and games.
Players cannot wear earrings, hats, hooded sweatshirts, jewelry, or other metal on their person.
